Click here for the comprehensive list of graduation requirements as well as information about personalized pathways. A personalized pathway is a group of courses that lead to a specific post-high school career or education outcome chosen by the student based on their interests. These often include career and technical options and are intended to provide a focused purpose to the student's learning.

Additional Requirements

Please note that, in addition to the correct credits, all Washington state high school graduates must complete a High School & Beyond Plan and pass Washington State History (typically taken in middle school). Successful completion of the English/Language Arts (ELA) and Math Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) is also required for graduation. Students typically take these exams at the end of their Sophomore year. Juniors and Seniors have the opportunity to test (or retest) yearly as well. The Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WCAS) is required for all students at the end of their Junior year, however successful completion is not currently a requirement.
