Busing & Parking

Many students live off campus and commute to the main campus in Cheney. The bus is included for students, faculty and staff with your EagleCard, but if you have to drive, traffic is friendly. Either way, it’s only 20 minutes from Cheney to Spokane.

Commuter Lounge

Located inside the Pence Union Building (PUB 201) is a great space to hang out, drink coffee and enjoy the free Wi-Fi while you wait.

Meal Plans

The commuter dining plan is designed for students living off campus who desire the convenience of a meal plan.

Library

The JFK Library is the perfect spot to study, use the computer lab, get free tutoring help or writing tips.

Bus Routes

All EWU students, faculty and staff can ride the bus for free with their EagleCard.

Spokane

The 6, 66 and 661 are all buses which take you from the Cheney campus to Spokane. Hundreds of students, staff and faculty utilize this service, so more often than not you will be surrounded by fellow Eags. There are also routes that connect Cheney to the Spokane International airport. Along with this, EWU I.D. offers free transportation through the Spokane Transit Authority with free public Wi-Fi to enjoy on your travels.

Cheney

The 67 and 68 buses provide a free, safe and easy method of transportation in and around the Cheney area. The two buses are your main busing method around the Cheney area, taking you in one complete loop around the city from downtown to campus and back. Each of these stops grants convenient walkability and multiple routes to better take you around the city. All buses have a bike rack located at the front of the bus.
