The Cleaning Product Right to Know Act of 2017 (Senate Bill 258) authored by Senator Ricardo Lara (D- Bell Gardens) and signed by Governor Jerry Brown now requires cleaning product ingredients to be listed both on labels and online. Even fragrance ingredients that have long been held secret will be listed. This groundbreaking law will impact the cleaning product market across the country.

Poll Results: Californians want ingredient transparency

A 2017 poll showed California voters overwhelmingly support legislation to require ingredient labeling on cleaning products sold in the state. Major findings of the poll include:
